The accessory modules shown on this page are designed to make it easier to get your microcontroller projects up and running. The Micro-440e starter packages include the ST-I/O Module, and the Micro-485 packages include the ST-485 Board. Please refer to the order page for complete pricing information. ST-I/O MODULE The ST-I/O Module is the perfect complement to the Micro-440e. It forms a working bridge between the Micro-440e's I/O functions and the real world. Screw terminals along each side of the module make wiring jobs quick and easy. Series protection resistors on all analog/digital I/O lines. Transistor buffers and status LEDs for digital I/O lines. Screw terminals for easy wiring to power & peripherals. Power input jack and 9 pin D-sub serial port connector. Direct plug-in connection to the Micro-440e's I/O Port. User's manual with schematics and application info. 5 volt regulator for powering peripherals. Optional MOSFET transistors sink 0.6A at up to 60V. Models available with various configurations of I/O. The standard ST-I/O includes 12 PNP buffer transistors that boost the CPU's output current sink capability to 100mA while retaining the noninverting and bidirectional operation capability. For output only applications, the PNP transistors can be replaced with MOSFETs. ST-485 BOARD (Shown with Micro-485) The ST-485 board provides a convenient way to connect peripherals to the Micro-485's 40 pin header. The Micro-485 just slips into the ST-485, which has screw terminals on three sides, to make wiring quick and easy. Board includes corner mounting holes. LED status indicators for primary serial port and power. Power input jack. 9 pin D-sub serial port connector.
