PROTOTYPING MODULE The Prototyping Module is an inexpensive and convenient way to add custom circuitry to the Micro-440e. The circuit board consists of a grid of plated through holes on 0.1" centers with a 25 pin D-sub connector on each end. It also features an attractive case, perfect for your Micro-440e custom interface electronics. PC INTERFACE CABLES Standard and custom cables are available for connecting controllers and interface modules to a terminal or PC with an RS-232 port. All cables are available for both 9-pin and 25-pin serial port connectors. Note: All Hardware Packages and System Design Packages include the appropriate 9-pin interface cable along with the 9-25 pin adapter. All cables are six feet long. 8051 MACRO ASSEMBLER The A51 Macro Assembler is a powerful assembler that generates Intel compatible object files for all members of the 8051 family. It also includes an object to HEX format file converter. A complete set of assembler directives allows you to define symbols, reserve or initialize memory and select memory segments. 38 different assembler controls allow you to specify how your code is assembled and the output formatted. The powerful macro processor enables you to group together frequently used code modules into a macro and assign a symbolic name to the entire block of code. Macros make source code easier to understand by grouping simple tasks together and assigning a name that reflects the function of the defined macro. MS51 SYMBOLIC DEBUGGER Included with the Assembler package is the MS51 Symbolic Debugger. MS51 is designed to interface with the MONITOR-51 to enhance assembly language program debugging by allowing references to all source file symbols and labels. SAMPLE PROGRAMS DISK The sample program disk includes ASCII text file versions of the sample programs contained in the controller User's Manuals. They also include the currently available application note software examples. Note: The sample programs are also included on the Assembler Package program disk.
