BlueEarth

Year 2000 Compliance Statement

BlueEarth products included in the Micro-440e and Micro-485 ("Micro") product lines have limited support for year 2000 compliance. It is the sole responsibility of the customer and the customer's application program to ensure that the Micro is able to accurately process date/time data and calendar dates (including, but not limited to, inputting, storage, recording, manipulating, displaying, and outputting) before, on and after January 1, 2000. BlueEarth assumes no responsibility or liability for any action or result due to any function of the customer's application program.

The Clock/Calendar on the Micro has 2-digit calendar year registers and therefore does not support a 4-digit calendar year. It is recommended that the application program assign all year values greater than or equal to 80 as an offset to the year 1900, and year values less than 80 as an offset to the year 2000. This will provide compliance for all dates on or after January 1, 1980 up to and including December 31, 2079.

In the event that a system that includes the Micro is identified as non-compliant, BlueEarth technical support staff may be available to assist customers in updating their application program to provide compliance.
